RESTAURANT OPERATORS HAVEN’T BEEN THIS PESSIMISTIC SINCE THE GREAT RECESSION OF 2008

June’s 43% “economic pessimism,” as measured by the National Restaurant Association, is the highest level of pessimism since the Great Recession of 2008 and just the second time in 20 years that over 40% of operators said they expect economic conditions to worsen in six months.
