OUTCOME
B&P recommended re-distribution of tenancies based on lease expiries, and a remix of the ratios of fast food to slow food to deliver a 100% increase in rent by 2016.
This was done without increasing either the number of tenancies or the area allocated to retail as both these metrics were at the upper end of sustainability.
Deakin also had a mixed delivery model with some independent leases managed by FM and some facilities under management agreements and managed by Hospitality Services. B&P identified how to streamline this model so that it was all managed by one department.
